Riff is in early access

Riff is available in early access for Mac computers with Apple silicon and macOS 26.4 or later.

Ask for a copy

Email humans@itrtr.com with the subject “Riff early access”. We’ll reply with a link to download Riff.

Set up Riff

1. Open the disk image and drag Riff to your Applications folder.
2. Open Riff. Its icon appears in the menu bar.
3. Allow the microphone, and speech recognition if macOS asks for it.
4. Turn on Riff under Privacy & Security > Accessibility in System Settings, so Riff can type into other apps.
5. Put the caret in a text field, hold Control-Option-R, talk, and let go.

Updates

Riff checks for updates automatically and installs them with your permission. Choose Check for Updates in the Riff menu to look for a new version right away.
